The ascent was in doubt right till the very end due to extreme weather conditions, cold temps and high winds were a real problem. The guys pulled out all the stops and battled on through to the top. Four of the teams returned to the valley yesterday (three having summited) while the rest should be down by lunch today. We await with held breaths as to the results from the teams still on the mountain.
