busy summer

Its been a while since either Guy or myself have blogged, the reason is quite easy, we've just been so busy. The time has shot past and now we are half way through the summer already. So where to begin, while our summer kicked off with Guy and Steph getting married. It was a truly amazing day to be part off. The bride looked absolutely stunning and, if the truth be known, Guy didn't scrub up too badly either. It was great to see so many of our friends gathered in one spot and we all wish the new couple all the best. The beautiful couple. The summer has been quite good weather wise but there has been some weeks of chasing weather so I'd like to thanks all our clients so far who have all been great to be with. Summits have included Mont Blanc, Grand Paradiso, Aig Du Chardonnet, Cadar Idris, Dent Du Geant, Aig Tour, Snowdon to name but a few. We'd just like to mention young Asher who 2 weeks ago became the youngest Brit to climb Mont Blanc with Dream Guides at only 10. I think we probably have a budding Everest Climber there! Alpine Dawn looking towards the Dru. A couple of Welsh peaks have slipped in you may notice, this was because I (Kenton) spent 2 weeks working in Wales on a team building exercise which was brill, despite the fact I was working with 17 Aussies. Looking ahead the summer is still busy (right into mid Sept) with many of our old friends coming back out to enjoy the Alpine climbing, after that things calm down a little but we still have our rock weekends to look fwd to down in the S of France. Alpine fun. The summer so far has been great new friends have been made and fresh links made to old, but the underlying theme this year so far has been fun. Thanks Kenton and the DG team
