OH MY GOD!!!

It’s almost midnight and my legs are still hurting after today’s little adventure. I suppose the last 2 weeks haven’t been the best prep for deep powder skiing. I have been super lucky and been hanging out on Beaches in Antigua doing a little sailing drinking too much rum and generally having a great time with my wife and family. So it came as a bit of a shock to substitute flip-flops for ski boots and 35 degree heat for -7 this morning but that’s what happened. My last days’ skiing before going to Everest in March was one of the best days ever. Now fast-forward 9 months and add the same crew of Woof Woof and Jon Griffiths mix with a little bottomless powder and you get pretty much the same……. SEX ON SNOW (not literally of course before some of you shout out the obvious). Run after run of prefect powder with those longed for blue skies above, for the first day back on planks that can’t be moaned at. I’d love to tell you how good it was but I can’t, words couldn’t describe it so I let the photos do the talking. There was also an awesome shooting star above Chamonix tonight so I made a wish for us all as it shot through the sky. I wished for……… Now that would ruin the wish wouldn’t it! Thanks to Jon Griffiths of www.alpineexposures.com for all the pics.
