The Ratters getting ready....the smiles say it all!!!
Yesterday (Sunday) afternoon was spent in and around the Tower Bridge area of London at the Rat Race.
This two day event which is aimed at generating huge amounts of fun in an urban area was the last in the UK series this year and the whole series went off with a bang. The race was made up of running, biking, kayaking, clue solving, abseiling and many more.
I was with Jim who came up with the whole concept and Andy from Adventure Base for the afternoon and we spent a fun few hours watching some of the 1000 people who entered finish the course.
Folk abseiling down the side of the HAC building yesterday
The weather was especially kind with no rain and dare I say it hot temps in the city. Some of the race goers were looking some what hot and thirsty as they came across the line.
