The Manaslu team are bugging out and going home ... Speaking to Guy yesterday, they weren't sure if they would be getting a helicopter back from Samagown or walking back. But either way, they're packed up and on their way home. Safe, sound, exhausted, and looking forward to getting back to civilisation.
I don't think the reality of their achievement has kicked in yet, but I'm sure a hot shower, good food, and sleep will bring it all home - and before they know it they'll be celebrating in true Kathmandu style with enormous steaks, large beers, and really good coffee and cake in Helenas.
