spoke to Kenton a few minutes ago to get an update...
Greg and Omar are delighted (understatement!) with their summit
success with Kenton and are on their way down the Khumbu, back to
Kathmandu and then homeward. Well done!!
With his 4th summit in so many years under his belt, Kenton's trip is
not yet over! Ben and Tori have been recuperating at basecamp during
the last summit bid and are now set to go.
So Kenton, Ben, Tori and Rob Casserley (2nd guide) will be heading
off to camp 2 in the next day or so, looking to summit early on the
24th May. Lets wish them luck!
For Kenton and Rob this will be their 2nd summit (if successful) this
season - ouch! With the season pushing on, this is likely to be the
one summit shot for Ben and Tori - the culmination of all their hard
work in training and preparation and of course climbing on this trip!
I'll keep you posted.....likely the 24th/25th.
