Stateside

Jazzy in the Snow Kenton and Jazz the Storm trooper The last week has seen myself (Kenton) and Jazz visting Jackson Hole in the States. I came across to do a presentation on behalf of the YPO at their family and friends ski weekend. It was an amazing weekend with some great folk present from lots of different parts of the States and even a couple of families from Australia. As well as myself talking there were a few ski legends also talking at the event. Gordy Peifer, Brant Moles, Jeremy Nobis and the snow boarder Rob Kingswill (aka Kinger), if you don't recognise these names google them and sit back and watch some jaw dropping footage, these boys really did define Alaskan Skiing!!! The man on the right is the Legend that is Gordy Peifer, not sure who the tall Muppet is!! The event finished on Monday morning. Since then we have been skiing in the resort with the exception of Wednesday when I hiked Glory Peak Twice with Tim Connelly to grab some shockingly good powder followed by a short skin to drop into Avalanche Bowl and again some world class powder turns. With only a few days left before home we are hoping that the snow keeps falling and that the skiing stays as good as it was today. be safe and enjoy Kenton
